7:24 PM Life On A Roller Coaster!: Thank you, Victor, for visiting my blog and leaving message! Yes, I had not been updating my blog for a long while. No, I'll not close my blog though that thought did pop up in my mind! And yes, I have added my website link here! Will do likewise from my website too. Thanks for your reminder! I was kind of landed on the bottom of a roller coaster ride recently! The lights were off... the path ahead unforeseeable... I was like watching my own horror movie! Hey, anyone out there has similar experiences? It was nerves wrecking! I know it was an excuse for not updating my blog, however, I couldn't lift myself up to type anything even when I intended to do so. Thank goodness, my friends and mentor came forward to give me a lift! During those hours of darkness, I felt that I was the only one on the ride. Somehow the whole world seemed clashing down on me. I panicked and was lost in my own world for a while. I had forgotten that there were others on the train, that I was not alone, that I could enjoy the thrill without the fear! Suddenly, I heard voices of my friends and mentor asking me to reach out. With my outstretched hands, they brought back the light! Sometimes, we find ourselves lost in our own horror movie. Do not panick, reach up & reach out! Life on a roller coaster is FUN and EXCITING! 3:41 PM Living Life At Your Fullest Potential!: If you have not seen Susan Boyle on YouTube, you have not seen the STAR of today! I was mesmerized completely by her astounding performance! On 11 Apr 09, she stepped onto the Britain Got Talent Show as a 47 year old lady from a large town with many small villages, and walked off the stage with her head high with millions of fans around the world right now! She is... our dream come true! (APPLAUSE!!!) She is truly a life example of how one can choose to live ones' life at ones' full potential! She chose to stand on the stage of life by living her passion regardless of what others see her. What about you? Do you have a strong belief that you shine like a star? I do now! Susan Boyle, you have truly inspired me! Thank you, thank you! Let us all bring our hearts together and live life at our fullest potential! Live like there is no tomorrow... Be Your Best... At Your Best... in whatever you do! I don't know about you, but I am putting in my 100% effort in all the works of my hands - everything! Another great lesson that I got from watching her is to continue to look out for opportunities and be ready when opportunities knock on the door! Step Up and take the stage! The stage is ours to take whenever we are ready. So, are you ready? I am ready! If there are areas that I'm not ready, I am working on those areas by gaining knowledge through education. Do not stop learning even if you hold a PhD or Doctorate. Life is a learning and growing process! I love life! 9:23 PM PASSION EXPRESSED!: Wow! The whole of yesterday had such a great impact on me! My day started early as I was supporting a friend with her 1st major public training. Though she hardly slept the night before, her passion in training and sharing could be felt even miles away. Immediately after her training, I rushed to the Indoor Stadium for JJ 2009 Live Concert! The stadium was filled with almost 10,000 supporters. His stunning performance won the hearts of many of us, especially his Fan Club members! I was deeply touched by his passion in singing and music. His voice "broke" when he sang with his parents and brother on stage! My heart melt and tears welled up in my eyes when I saw, hear and felt the love in this family. My day ended on a high note - Passion Expressed! It reminded me that all it takes for success in life is PASSION! With that passion, it can light up the whole world - My World! Anything we do, it can be as small as a greeting or as big as JJ's singing, when it's sprinkled with our passion in living, it brings our world to a whole new dimension! I used to think that I need to earn enough money before I can live my life passionately the way I choose to. Now I know my life is "RICH" when I live it PASSIONATELY! Will you join me, my friend, to live your life passionately regardless of your current circumstances or challenges? Think about it - what kind of energy will you attract when you start to live your life passionately? Have you seen a child who painted passionately with her hands and the resonating smile on the face of the adults who have the privilege to view the master piece? Have you seen a fully bloom garden and notice the irresistible joy in your heart? What about those indescribable moments in your life where time seem to freeze? Life is full of miracles when we expect miracles to happen! In Truth, Simplicity & Love, Gladys Lee Breathworker ![]() Labels: Living With Passion Tuesday, March 24, 2009
11:09 PM A Day To Love Myself!: I was feeling a bit down after my Saturday workshop at a school. I was running a parenting workshop at a school and the response was not up to my expectation. Yes, of course I do have "down" days, no matter how positive I am, I am still a human with a EGO! A fragile ego, which I learned to watch very closely. I was reminded to love myself today since I had been doing work for others and spending my energy loving others for the past few days. My love tank required refilling, hence, I spent my afternoon having my hands and feet pampered - a luxurious mani- & pedi-cure! This evening when I log in to my blog, I was pleasantly surprised to see messages left on the TagBoard! Thank you Victor, Blur & Just! You have all made my day! Knowing that my work has been read and appreciated is many times more effective than having my hands and feet pampered! So, when was the last time you love yourself? Or when was the last time you leave some love for others around you? It could be just a little note, a SMS, a "I hope you are well" thought or like what Victor, Blur & Just did - leave a comments in your friends' blog. Givers Get! What goes around comes around! 10:41 PM Reflection Time: Now is a great time for everyone to do some reflection! Mankind has gone through years of physical environmental challenges, territorial challenges, and now, economical challenges. What are the lessons for mankind to learn? Have anyone thought about this? Yes, I do believe there are some who did give these a great work-out. What about you? Did your mind go, "Oh, I'm just an employee, as long as I keep my job, it has nothing to do with me!", or "Those are the work of #@$*!". How we react or respond to these events will be a great lesson for our children! Remember, they are watching our every move! We are planting seeds in their pure and innocent minds unconsciously (or I hope consciously!). Are we creating more FEAR in our environment? Fear of not enough, fear of trusting others, fear of doing things in the wrong way, etc. Are we creating more separation between US & OTHERS? Are we still as loving and forgiving? My Master once told me Everything Happens For A Reason! So, there must be a great reason for this current economic challenge. He also said Only Love is Real and Everything Else Is A Cry For Help! So, may the help & love be sent across the oceans. It all starts with ME! In Truth, Simplicity & Love, Gladys Lee Breathworker Labels: Living With Passion Wednesday, March 18, 2009
10:53 PM Fun Time 4 Family!: Are your kids feeling bored at home? When was the last time you have a fun family time? Recently, my family decided to take up a new sport - Inline Skating! I was extremely nervous on the very 1st lesson. However, the class proved to be fun and easy. It was easy because the lesson was very structured and broken down to many small manageable chunks! It reminded me of my driving lessons many years back. It also reminded me of how I could make my life goal into many structured and manageable chunks to ensure success! Many people dare not dream BIG. However, if we could break the dream into many smaller dreams, every step is a success! Give it a go & let me know how your dream is unfolding right in front of your eyes! In Truth, Simplicity & Love, Gladys Lee Breathworker Labels: Living With Passion Tuesday, March 10, 2009
5:54 PM Still Seeking?: I have been searching high and low for many many years. Now, I can confidently say I have found my life purpose and mission! Interestingly, a friend told me today that there are many people like her, who are still seeking. My question is "When do you want to stop seeking?". A Master once taught me, if you have been looking for your answer for many years and you have not found it, stop looking at the same place! If you are like me, I had been looking for answer OUT THERE for at least 35yrs, if not more. We are all taught from young to look out. If you want to be rich and successful, look out and see what others do and do likewise. If you want to be happy, look out and see what others do and do likewise. If you want to have a fantastic relationship, look out and see what others do and do likewise... the list goes on and on. Hey, STOP my friend! LOOK WITHIN! What do you see or hear or feel? Nice try. Some of you may say it feels strange, it feels empty or even what's there to feel. A Lot - I would say! You are one Amazing Being - can you feel it? Look into the mirror, yes right now! And tell yourself - I am one AMAZING BEING! In Truth, Simplicity & Love, Gladys Lee Breathworker Labels: Living With Passion Monday, March 9, 2009
9:40 PM Live With Passion!: I just have had a teleconversation with a friend. She shared that her friend had encouraged everyone he knew to post something positive inspite of the current economic challenges (I've replaced words like crisis and problems with challenges in my dictionary). I strongly support his view! There are so many beautiful happenings in life that one may overlook or forget after listening or seeing what's on the news/paper. Recently, my 13yr old girl pointed out to me a breathtaking sight when we were at a neighbourhood wet market. We saw a tree fully bloom with pink flowers. Imagine the whole tree with lovely pink! I immediately took out my mobile and shot some quick pictures. I felt like I'm watching Sakura in Japan! I was in a high spirit the rest of my day. My friend even cared to research into the name of this tree - Tabebuia rosea trees (also known as Trumpet Tree or Pink Poui) after I posted the picture on FaceBook. Have you been so busy and burdened lately that you missed the wonderful pink Trumpet Tree? What about the little things that happened in your life? Like a hot meal, a friendly smile or a sweet giggle of a little child? Happiness is what you feel within... Are you still looking out for Happiness? Thanks for reading my 1st official blog! Happy Day! In Truth, Simplicity & Love, Gladys Lee Breathworker Labels: Living With Passion |
